Youth Volunteer Project

Voice of the Shuswap is launching a new Youth Volunteer Project – and we want YOU! Dive into radio, media, and creativity with us. Whether you’re into music, storytelling, tech, or just want your voice heard, this is your moment. No experience needed – just bring your energy and ideas!

Social Media Volunteer

Help spread the word about our community radio station by assisting with social media! This role involves creating and scheduling posts, promoting shows and events, and engaging with our listeners online. It’s a great opportunity for anyone interested in communications, storytelling, or digital media—and a fun way to support local voices and community radio.

Marketing Support Volunteer

Help us grow our audience and strengthen our connection to the community by supporting our marketing efforts. This role may include helping with outreach campaigns, promotional materials, event promotion, sponsorship and creative brainstorming. It’s a great fit for someone interested in marketing, communications, or community engagement—and an excellent way to support and amplify community radio.

Tech Support / Sound Engineering Volunteer

Help keep our community radio station sounding great on-air and online! Volunteers in this role support studio operations, assist with sound engineering and recording, and help troubleshoot technical issues. This is a hands-on opportunity for anyone interested in audio production, broadcast technology, or live sound—and a vital way to support the voices and programs that serve our community.
